FirePixels are spray resistant. Should water enter the burner tube or cover the enclosure, it's no problem. In this video a FirePixel has its burner completely filled with water. Watch as it successfully ejects the water in its attempt to ignite and is successful after a few seconds. The process of ignition is designed to clear water from all burner parts.
All of the flame effects external parts are made from materials resistant to corrosion such as brass, stainless steel and ceramic. FirePixel fuel and electrical connections are rated for outdoor use, and permanent installations in harsh outdoor conditions have been deployed by LiveSpark customers.
